Situated in South Delhi, which is an administrative district of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in India, Defence Colony is a centrally located, premium residential area, known for its upscale lifestyle.
Defence Colony is broadly divided in to 5 residential blocks - A, B, C, D, and E, with a total of more than 1,860 houses. Originally established to settle high rank Defence personnel, the colony now has people residing from all walks of life. The colony initially consisted of low single story bungalows with front lawns and tall trees.  Dear Esteemed Residents
Defence colony has emerged as an excellent place to live in. the colony has established its stature in Delhi. This is to a large extent, due to active participation of its residents through active and vibrant members of resident welfare association. The DCWA has been making news by being selected as one of the best run Welfare Associations and have got several awards.
We have to endeavor to maintain the high standards. Dear Residents, you have an important role to play. Membership of R.W.A. is not like having an instant cup of Coffee . It requires your involvement and participates in Association activities.
Demand your right of service. The President and Committee members are here to serve you. They have taken time to represent you all and render their Tyaga and seva.
They will do their Karma & the fruits will be there to all of us to share.
